Neurosis Tapped For Maryland Deathfest IX

If Cretin or Impaled Nazarene weren’t enough of a reason for you to head to Charm City next spring for the Maryland Deathfest IX, what if we upped the stakes a bit? What if we threw in some Avulsed, some Devourment, and then added alt-metal icons Neurosis as one of the night’s headliners?

I bet you’re on Orbitz right this second looking for hotels. Yes, people — Maryland Deathfest IX is set for May 27 through May 29 at Sonar in Baltimore, and each week, the festival’s promoters have been bolstering the bill with bigger and heavier names. Creative Waste, Defeated Sanity, Malignant Tumour, Cianide, and Nokturnel have also been added to the lineup.

They join previously announced performers Blood Freak, Cripple Bastards, Exhorder, Exhumed, Hooded Menace, The Kill, Last Days of Humanity, Machetazo, Nightbringer, Repugnant, and Wormed.

I can’t miss this. No way. And this is just the beginning — over the coming months, this fest is only going to get more and more extreme.
